Solid Surface, explained.

Solid surface (you may know the brand name Corian) is a poured acrylic-based composite. It looks like soft stone, feels like cool plastic, and has one property that nothing else has: the seams disappear.

We can join two slabs and sand the joint until you cannot find it with your finger. We can also integrate the sink directly into the counter so the bowl flows seamlessly from the surface. No silicone line, no grime trap.

Because it is repairable, a scratch or scuff is not the end of the counter. We sand and re-polish and the surface renews. Deep burns are the exception. Those usually leave a mark, and we will tell you straight if a piece can be saved. Even so, solid surface ages better than any other material we install.
